TARAS LUBA January 10, 1918 - August 1, 2000 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Taras (Terry) Luba, age 82 years, on Tuesday, August 1, 2000, at the Grace Hospital, after a short illness. Taras was born and raised on a farm near Angusville, MB. He was the youngest and last surviving member of a family of 11 children. He is survived by, and will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 57 years, Ann; his son Wayne and wife Frances; and his grandchildren, Melanie, Katherine, and Michael. Prayer service will be held Friday, August 4 at 7:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 5 at 10:00 a.m. from Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with Deacon Nick Kohuch presiding. Flowers are gratefully declined, but if family and friends wish, donations may be made in Tarass memory to the Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church in East Kildonan or to the Grace Hospital Foundation as tokens of remembrance. We wish to thank the staff of the Grace Hospital for Dads (Grandpas) care during his final days with us. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
